Library Lending Policy
Anyone who lives, works, owns property, or attends school within the taxpayer boundaries of the City of Belleville, Sumpter Township, or Van Buren Township is eligible for a library card at the Belleville Area District Library.

Internet Policy
The Belleville Area District Library provides a wide variety of resources through its Internet workstations and Wireless Access Network.

Gift Policy
The Belleville Area District Library welcomes and encourages gifts and donations which are consistent with the Library’s Mission Statement. Review the library’s gift/donation Policy.
Exam Proctoring Policy
The Belleville Area District Library offers exam proctoring as a service in support of the education of our community. This service is free for residents of the City of Belleville, and Van Buren and Sumpter Townships. Non-residents will be charged a $25 fee. Proctoring is by appointment only.
